Cruising Tips
For those who have never cruised...

 

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

• Alcoholic Beverages and soda
• Shore excursions in the ports of call. These can be purchased in the mail lobby of the ship or prior to sailing form your travel consultant
• Shopping in the ship stores and the ports of call
• Long Distance ship-to-shore phone calls
• Tips to cruise personnel


HOW MUCH DO WE TIP?:

Tipping is at your discretion. The subject of tipping always comes at the end of a cruise and may be the topic of discussion at your table. Here are general guidelines.

• Steward: $3.50 per person per day
• Waiter: $5.00 per person per day
• Busboy: $1.50 per person per day

It is customary to leave tips on the last day of the cruise for these services. Wine Stewards, bar waiters, bell boys, may be tipped at the time of their service. Tipping Maitre D’ and Head Waiters is also at your discretion. Remember the above guidelines are only suggestions. If your service is either superior or inferior to you r expectations, tip accordingly.

Providing Proof of Citizenship:

Because you will be leaving the United States, you will need proof of citizenship to each port of call. You will need one of the following:
